DD1000i firmware

New features

Log forwarding

It is now possible to configure whether generated logs should be forwarded from Upstream to Downstream, or not.

Added SNMP parameters

SNMP parameters for CPU and Temperature information have been added.

Improvements

The following improvements are included in this release:

  • Added integrated DD Engine proxy firmware version check.
    • A warning will be logged if Upstream and Downstream firmware versions do not match.
  • Removed option to downgrade firmware.
    • It is no longer possible to downgrade to an earlier firmware version.
  • Improved the system architecture to decrease the attack surface.
  • Improved the DD Manager user experience.
  • Improved logging for Access Control feature.
    • Failed login attempts are logged with username and timestamp.
  • Updated Third party dependences.

Bug fixes

The following bugs have been solved in this version:

System
  • Factory reset did not work when the system disk was full.
  • Certain types of certificate metadata would cause the certificate validation to fail while configuring the system.
  • Changing IP addresses while the system was starting would cause an error.
Access control
  • Excessive client requests if access control was enabled while a browser session was active.
  • Deleting current user group did not re-route user to the login page.
  • Refreshing the page made the user appear to be logged out.

Known issues

The following issues are knowingly included in the release:

  • It is not possible to upgrade from a version prior to 4.2.0 to 4.3.0 on a device which has an invalid hostname configured. Doing so will cause the firmware upgrade to be aborted and rolled back to the previously installed version.
    • A valid hostname may contain alphanumeric characters (a-z and 0-9), dot (.) and dash (-). The hostname may be up to 64 characters in length.

File Transfer

Improvements

  • Third party dependency upgrades.

Bug fixes

The following bugs have been solved in this version:

  • File Transfer Downstream file backup did not work if the service was restarted. File backup is now working on the Downstream section when the service has restarted.
  • It is no longer possible to write an invalid SMB Share path in the SMB configuration. Now all illegal characters are properly indicated as invalid when configuring the SMB Share parameter.

Known issues

The following issues are knowingly included in the release:

  • Sometimes, when the NFS File Transfer service is stopped, service status will not be correctly updated in DD Manager until the service is stopped again.
  • File Transfer files will fail to upload if a directory with the same name already exists.
