Maintenance

Upgrades

DD1000i firmware and services upgrades can be downloaded as soon as they become available on Advenica Artifactory (see Downloads) and a valid Maintenance and Support Agreement is in place.

Once upgrades have been downloaded, follow the instructions on how to upgrade Firmware and Services.

Managing SSD drives

The DD1000i comes with two SSD drives mounted, one for each of the DATA IN and DATA OUT sections. The drives are mounted in slots located above the network ports on each section of the DD1000i and kept in position by cover plates.

Turn off the DD1000i.
Loosen the screw that holds the SSD drive cover plate in position and remove the cover plate.
Grab the plastic strap on the SSD drive and carefully pull out the drive.

Mounting SSD drive

Loosen the screw that holds the SSD drive cover plate in position and remove the cover plate.
Slide the SSD drive carefully into the slot.
Remount the SSD drive cover plate.
